Polish supercar upstart Arrinera Automotive has officially announced a rough time frame for when it will start production of its first ever model, the Hussarya. They plan to create prototypes that should enter testing in October of 2014, with production of final-version cars set for the end of 2015.

The cars will be pretty straightforward in their concept and placement in the market. All 33 of the first cars will go into production as the “Arrinera Hussarya 33,” a kind of launch edition model. All will feature a 650hp mid-mounted V8, a benchmark sprint time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 340 km/h or 212 mph.

Prices will kick off at €160,000 ($218,000) “for the standard version,” while the launch edition model will stretch closer to €200,000 ($273,000).

According to a company release, “Serial assembly of the Hussarya will be carried out by SILS Centre Gliwice, a leading service provider for the automotive industry that possesses all the necessary certificates confirming the highest level of service as well as years of experience in cooperating with global car makers (e.g. Opel).”

We’re looking forward to seeing the Hussarya doing its first track tryouts. These are planned at locations in both Poland and the UK.
