If you’re observing the RS Q3 and thinking inside you, “Oh, great; Audi facelift = new fancy lights”, then you’re clearly spending too much time on our site reading news and comments. Nonetheless, you would be spot on with your assessment…

The cosmetic makeover on the outside seems milder than a spring breeze, as the only parts of the car that look different, are the lighting graphics on both ends of the RS Q3, and the color of the alloy wheels.

Our spies couldn’t get close enough to the interior, but some tweaks to the materials, colors and trims could be in store, while Audi may also give the RS Q3 a digital instrument panel.

Power will continue to come from Audi’s 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-five, and unless the Germans do some fine-tuning, it should produce the same output of 306hp (310PS) and 420Nm (309.8 lb-ft) of peak torque. In its current state, the RS Q3 comes with a 7sp S tronic dual clutch transmission that transfers power to all four wheels allowing for a 0-100km/h sprint time of 5.5 seconds.
