Since the beginning of the 1980s, the Caddy has been a mainstay of Volkswagen’s light commercial vehicle range, while also providing a number of vans to the brand’s passenger lineup. The current, third generation Caddy, has been on the market since the end of 2003, and it will continue to serve VW in an updated form.
The next facelift for the Caddy, expected to be introduced within the next year, will see the compact van getting a revised fascia with altered lights, grill, bumper and hood, with some small changes taking place at the rear end, including the tweaked tail lamps. Our spies also noticed a different cut for the small side window behind the A-pillar.
Being that the prototypes wereon the move, we can’t see their interior, but our man with the long lens said they were covered up, pointing to an updated dashboard.
Chances are that VW will make some changes under the hood offering engines with improved fuel economy and emission numbers as well.
