There’s no shortage of Porsche Cayenne II facelift prototypes these days with all cars having one thing in common: they allow us to see all cosmetic changes sans the redesigned lights on both ends of the luxury SUV, which will likely be introduced at the Paris Motor Show this fall.

True to Porsche’s evolutionary approach to styling, the changes to the 2015 Cayenne are not immediately noticeable, which is quite amusing if you think about it, as the Germans essentially redesigned and replaced the entire front end of the SUV that features a new hood, bumper, grille, lights and even front fenders!

To some extent, that applies to the rear end with the updated Cayenne gaining slimmer tail light fixtures, a reshaped bumper with a new rear apron and exhaust tips, as well as a reworked tailgate.

Porsche will replace the Cayenne’s naturally aspirated V8 with its new 3.0-liter twin-turbo petrol V6, while the range will welcome a new hybrid version borrowing the Panamera S E-Hybrid powertrain combining a 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery.

The German may also apply some tweaks to the rest of the engine range and possibly, to the interior as well.
