You can’t call yourself a car nut, regardless of which continent you find yourself on, if you’re not be aware of the cars made by Ford and Cosworth in the 1980s and early 1990s.

Cars like the Sierra and Escort made history both in the racing disciplines they were entered into and as fast road cars that really earned their place as icons, particularly in the UK, where they were seen as working class hero cars.

Now, the game has moved on as both Ford and Cosworth are looking to adapt to changing trends, no longer being together, the cars they built back inthe glory days of their collaboration will remain and provide joy (hopefully) for decades to come.

If maintained well, these cars can be driven every day, and when road conditions and mood permits, they are still a source of pure driving fun, as the XCAR video posted below shows.
