Volkswagen has released a series of genuine accessories for the recently facelifted Polo, ranging from style-enhancing elements to practical equipment. For those who want to make their Polo look sportier, VW offers a roof spoiler, exhaust covers, stainless steel pedal caps and mirror trims in carbon look. There’s also the 16-inch Syenit alloy wheel in anthracite which features five pairs of spokes.
Those who are not satisfied with the standard audio system can choose one fitted with an amplifier with built-in Digital Sound Processor with a total output of 300 watts and a powerful subwoofer. The system uses the existing vehicle speakers and fits perfectly in the spare wheel well.
Practical accessories include a bicycle rack made of UV resistant plastic that can be mounted is on the basic carrier bars with chrome-plated steel fasteners. There’s also a washable, non-slip, acid-resistant luggage tray for the boot that protects the luggage compartment from dirt. Its 40mm high edge also prevents liquids running out onto the vehicle floor.
VW also offers the G0 Plus Isofix child safety seat featuring a height-adjustable 5-point harness. The seat comes in two sizes: for children aged nine months to four and a half years (nine to 18 kg) and for children aged three to twelve years (15 to 36 kg).
