After last year’s updates for the Elantra sedan that brought new wheel designs, tweaked front and rear fascias, minor cabin improvements and a 173hp 2.0-liter, direct-injected inline four-cylinder for the new Sport edition, Hyundai is keeping it simple for the 2015MY giving its compact model a few new exterior colors and additional packaging options.
In more detail, the Sport model with the automatic transmission is now offered with a new optional Tech Package with a 7-inch touchscreen navigation system, 360-watt audio with external digital amp and Blue Link telematics, while Hyundai added Monaco White paint to the list of available colors for this trim grade.
The other new package is the Style for the SE that according to Hyundai, “provides a $400 value savings”, adding black cloth seats, power sunroof, leather steering wheel and shift knob, LED daytime lights, chrome exterior trim and aluminum front door sills.
For 2015, Hyundai renamed last year’s Tech Package to Limited Ultimate and reduced it’s price by $350 while keeping the same content. It also added a driver’s one-touch auto up window to the SE Popular Equipment Package.
Finally, the Elantra SE and Limited get four new exterior shades named Quartz White Pearl, Symphony Silver, Lakeside Blue and Shale Gray Metallic.
Pricing for the 2015 Elantra at $17,250, not including an $810 delivery fee.
