Peerless Cars was a small British car manufacturer that was only active for a few years in the late 1950s, with its sole product being the GT, of which about 325 units were made.

As you can imagine, it’s a quite exotic car, so owning one means you’re likely to never see the same model driven by anyone else. Paul Cressey owns a 1959 Peerless GT that he uses for historic racing.

The car was bought in 1993 by his father Ron who completely restored it (including its Triumph TR3 internals), in the hope that Paul would one day race it.

Ron’s wish came true and now Paul takes the Peerless GT to vintage races, where he often races against his father. It’s a beautiful story brought by Petrolicious that you can watch in the following video.
