Peugeot has announced two new “Crossway” special edition models for the 2008 and 3008 crossovers in France, with both cars featuring a compass motif that is a reference to their adventurous character.

The Peugeot 2008 Crossway and 3008 Crossway go on sale in July in France, with both models to be displayed at the Paris Auto Show in October. The 2008 Crossway is based on the Allure trim level and features 17-inch Eridan Gris Mat alloy-wheels, darkened rear windows, compass plates on the front wings and a compass sticker at the rear.

Equipment-wise, the model is fitted with the Grip Control system and navigation as standard. The cabin features black Mi-Tep leather and Alcantara upholstery with red or blue stitching, Bleu Yendi trim on the door panels and center console, as well as the compass logo on the backrests and floor mats. The 2008 Crossway also features the Peugeot LED Track ambiance lighting.

Optional extras include the Park Assist system, metallic and pearl-effect paints and a radio CD. Engine options include the 1.6-liter VTi 120 BVM5, 1.6-liter e-HDi 92 BVM5 and 1.6-liter e-HDi 115 BVM6. In France, the 2008 Crossway is priced from €21,550 ($29,330), all taxes included.

The Peugeot 3008 Crossway features similar equipment, with standard features including WIP Nav Plus navigation system, parking sensors, head-up display, and the Pack Aventure. Optional extras include the Grip Control system, rearview camera, metallic or pearl-effect paints and the Pack Vision.

The 3008 Crossway is offered with three engine options: 1.6-liter HDi 115 BVM6, 1.6-liter e-HDi FAP 115 ETG6 and 2.0-liter HDi 150 BVM6. Prices start from €30,800 ($41,890).
