Apart from bribing some high officials from Volkswagen in order to drive your Bugatti Veyron Super Sport on the Ehra-Lessien high-speed track in Germany, you will probably never get even close to the top speed of your car (em…assuming you own one).
You could also try bribing some high officials from Porsche Engineering in order to drive your Bugatti Veyron SS on the 12.5 kilometers (7.8 miles) high speed track in Nardò, Italy, but that is about as far-fetched as a proposition as the first one.
With that being said, the American owner of the One of One Pur Blanc edition of the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport did get mighty close to his car’s top speed, and he did it on a public road in…Idaho, of all places.
As most of you know, there are just 30 units of the Veyron Super Sport around, with Bugatti building them in celebration of the record-breaking model.
Long story short, YouTube user The Stradman was there to catch the car’s 246.4 mph run, and you should probably use headphones for the second part of the video because it sounds like a jet fighter from the distance.
