It is true that Germany and especially the Nürburgring is one of the best places in the world to spot development prototypes from Europe’s biggest automakers, but it isn’t the only country where testers can be found.
Carscoops reader Luka C. took this cell phone shot of not one, but three Audi SUVs, believed to be Q7s (one never knows with Audi and its one-design fits all sizes practice…), in Croatia.
“Here is a picture of 3 new Audi Q7s spied testing in Makarska city, Croatia,” Luka told us.
It’s not clear whether the cars were driven by Audi engineers or if Ingolstadt secretly invited select members of the press for a first drive of the cars in prototype form.
According to our most recent intel, the second generation of Audi’s Q7 will be presented at the Paris Motor Show in early October. The new luxury SUV will be built around a new platform and will benefit from weight-saving materials and a new selection of engines, including the firm’s latest supercharged V6 and turbocharged V8 gasoline mills.
Thanks to Luca for the scoop!
