Are you in the mood for a history lesson? If the answer is yes, XCAR is looking at the F-Type’s lineage that include the C-type, D-type and the legendary E-Type. Jaguar has always combined luxury with sportiness, but these cars are all about performance.
Imagine you could drive each of these Jaguar sports cars in one day and notice how different and yet how similar they are in essence. Well, if your imagination doesn’t help, you can always take a look at the video which features presenter Alex Goy driving all cars on the track.
Of course, it would have been nice if the video featured an F-Type roadster instead of a coupe (or maybe the F-Type Project 7), as all classic cars featured in the video are convertibles. Head past the break to find out if the current F-Type has anything in common with its ancestors.
