Italian design meets raw American power: that’s the tagline for Zagato’s Alfa Romeo-badged, but Dodge Viper-based, TZ3 Stradale. Only nine copies of the limited production car rolled out of the coachbuilder’s factory in Italy and one of them is now offered for sale at a Ferrari dealership in Newport Beach California.
TZ3 Stradale No7 is finished in a Metallic Brown exterior paint with Chestnut Leather interior, which looks better than what it sounds, with the Viper ACR’s 640hp 8.4 liter V10 engine having covered a mere 317 miles (510km) from new.
Zagato’s coachbuilt body looks good from some angles, awkward from others. Inside, the lavish use of leather and silky aluminum panels can’t hide the interior’s American/Dodge origins, but they sure as hell can make it look a little bit more pleasing and fancy to the eye compared to previous generation Viper’s stock cabin.
To have the pleasure of owning the most Italian Viper ever, you’ll need to write a check for $699,900 to the Ferrari dealer.
