The tuning experts at AC Schnitzer have released their aftermarket twist on the new BMW 2-Series Coupe with styling and performance components.
Right now, there are five performance upgrades on offer for the 2-Series, beginning with two petrol-powered models, the 220i that’s boosted from 184PS (181hp) to 245PS (242hp) and the M235i that gains 54PS (53hp) for a total of 380PS (375hp) in Euro-spec.
On the diesel front, with AC Schnitzer’s kit, the 218d delivers 171PS (169hp), the 220d gets 218PS (215hp) and the 225d is rated for 258PS (255hp).
Other available goods include a sports exhaust (hear the M235i in the video below), a 30mm to 40mm lowered and stiffer suspension (depending on the model), and 18 to 20-inch alloy wheels in different coolers and styles.
There’s also a carbon front spoiler (for M-Technik vehicles), carbon mirror covers, carbon rear diffuser (for M 235i), and roof and boot lid spoilers, plus various interior elements such as a manual gear knob with digital gear display, aluminum handbrake handle, pedal set and foot rest, and floor mats.
