GM has dropped official interior images of its new Buick Envision mid-size crossover that just made its world premiere today at the Chengdu Motor Show in China.
It won’t be long before we get more exterior images of the car, but for now, we can show you a leaked brochure scans and shots of the new Envision scooped out in the open, completely undisguised.
The Envision slots between the small Encore and large Enclave riding on GM’s global Delta platform measuring 4,667mm (183.74 in.) in length, 1,839mm (72.4 in.) in width and 1,696mm (66.77 in.) in height, with a wheelbase of 2,750mm (108.27 in.).
In China, it will launch with a 2.0-liter direct injection turbocharged gasoline engine rated for 256hp and 353Nm of peak torque, paired to a 6-speed automatic and electronically controlled AWD system.
The exterior design of the car is best described as inoffensive incorporating the Buick brand’s signature styling cues like the waterfall grille and hood ports, while GM’s focus on the interior was to give it a premium feel through the available colors, materials and trim decor.
Inside, you can find leather surfaces with French-style dual stitching, ice-blue ambient lighting, a large panoramic sunroof with a sunshade and all the latest tech and equipment gadgetry.
It has been reported that the Envision will come to North America as well, possibly late next year, though details remain thin at this point.
