Audi’s all-new TT Coupe is available for order in Britain with first deliveries set for December this year.
Prices for the current range start from £29,770 OTR for the FWD 2.0 TFSI petrol model rising to £35,335 OTR for the quattro AWD 2.0 TDI edition.
The 2.0-liter TFSI petrol has 227hp (230PS) and 370Nm of peak torque and can be combined with either front-wheel-drive and a 6-speed manual or quattro all-wheel-drive and a 6-speed S tronic twin-clutch transmission. The FWD version goes from 0-62mph (100km/h) in 6.0 seconds, topping out at 155mph (250km/H) and returns up to 47.9mpg UK with CO2 emissions of 137g/km.
Choose the 2.0-liter TDI diesel model that’s offered exclusively with front-wheel drive and a six-speed manual, and you get 181hp (184PS) for a 0 to 62mph (100km/h) in 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 150mph (241 km/h). More importantly, the diesel model has an estimated combined fuel economy of up to 67.3mpg UK and CO2 emissions of 110 g/km.
UK buyers can choose from two initial specification levels, the Sport and S line, both of which include Audi’s impressive 12.3-inch LCD, customizable instrument panel, which negates the need for a separate infotainment screen.
Sport models also have Audi’s Multi Media Interface with the MMI touch pad, the Audi drive select adaptive dynamics system, keyless go, 18-inch alloys, and xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights.
The S Line grade enhances the TT Coupe with 19-inch wheels, LED head- and tail-lamps, and a 10mm lower and tauter suspension.
In October, Audi will announced pricing for the sportier TTS model with a 306hp (310PS) 2.0-liter turbo four, with first deliveries for the UK expected in March next year.
