The first photos of Lada’s new production-intent Vesta sedan and XRay hatchback concept surfaced online, prior to their world premiere tomorrow at the Moscow International Auto Show.
Lada had shown a more crossover-like version of the XRay hatch with three-door back in 2012.
The two compact cars share the same 2.65 meter-long wheelbase, with the Vesta saloon measuring around 4.35 meters in length, according to Carstarnews, which also reported that the production models will borrow key components from the Renault Group’s parts bin.
The Renault-Nissan Alliance formally took over Lada’s parent company AutoVAZ this past June.
At this point, not much else is known about the Vesta and XRay, which are expected to go on sale in Russia and other neighboring markets in late 2015 and early 2016 respectively.
