We think you’ll agree that a Japanese highway is one of the least likely places you would expect to see Batman – or at lease someone dressed like the Dark Knight.

The caped crusader was riding a modified trike, and as reported on the Huffington-Post Japan, he was also seen by Tokyo residents cruising through the city’s streets, with some of them even approaching and asking him for a photo op.

“I asked if I could take his picture, and he silently gave me a thumbs-up,” one of the residents said, according to 9News.

If any of our many Japanese readers know more about the story and the man behind the mask, do tell us in the comments.
