The first example of the new F80 BMW M3 to step onto US soil has become a test bed of sorts for a number of tuners including MORR Wheels, which has shared these photos with us.
The Yas Marina Blue M3Yas Marina Blue M3 sedan is owned by Josh Shokri, founder of California car club “Speed District”, who apparently let US tuners bundle up his car with aftermarket goods.
Thanks to a beta-phase tune up, it has 580hp and 625 lb-ft under the hood, up from the stock turbocharged inline-six engine’s 425hp (431PS) and 406 lb-ft).
For now, and while it waits for a track-oriented coilover system, it rides on set of temporary H&R Super Sport springs and MORR’s 20-inch VS52 Competition wheels in a 20×9.5” and 20×11” fitment.
It’s also the first 2015 M3 to be equipped with Brembo’s new Big Brake Kit comprising of 380mm front and rear slotted rotors with 6-pot and 4-pot yellow calipers.
