We’re very eager to find out what the new rear-wheel drive Renault Twingo is like to drive, but until one will be readily available for testing, the best we can do is watch (or read) reviews.

The first one in video form, courtesy of Which?, has just been uploaded, and it portrays a city car that not only is funky to look at, but actually pretty talented too.

You already know the headlines: engine in the rear, lots of cabin space for its footprint and front wheels that almost look like they’re going to break off at full lock (they turn up to 45 degrees…). You also know it’s highly customizable and the fact that it comes with two engine options.

This review tried out the punchier TCE90 model, with the same turbocharged 0.9-liter engine you get in the Clio and a whole host of Dacia models. The car is rated as surprisingly comfortable and refined, especially at speed since vibration and harshness are unusually low for the class.

Additionally, the very small turning circle, coupled with the variable ratio steering fitted to the high-spec test car should give it unmatched maneuverability characteristics.
