Slowly, but surely, we’re getting a more complete look at Fiat’s new 500X small crossover that was now caught during a commercial shoot today by a reader of Alvolante.

This is the first time we get a clear look at the front and rear ends of Fiat’s Nissan Juke and Peugeot 2008 rival that will be built alongside and share its platform with the Jeep Renegade.

The business end seems almost identical to the 500L minivan and especially the crossover-ish Trekking Edition, while the back has a more hatchback feel to it with much larger tail lamps – it’s as if someone zoomed into the 500 city car’s rear clusters.

Fiat’s Sedici replacement will come in both front- and all-wheel drive configurations with European market powertrain choices to include diesel and petrol engines such as the 1.4-liter turbo and the 1.6-liter Multijet , inked to 6sp manual and possibly a nine-speed automatic.

After its world premiere in Paris this October, the 500X will go on sale by early 2015.
