Facelifts come like clockwork for BMW, with the four-year mark being the magic number for the Germans, who are now working on an update for the 6-Series range.
After spotting the 2016 BMW 6-Series Convertible last month, we captured the M6 Coupe undergoing tests in Germany.
The camouflaged models suggest that the exterior styling revisions will be on the light side (get it?), but by the time we get to see the cars in the metal, BMW may re-sculpture the bumpers as well.
Reports mention that the interior will benefit from a new iDrive infotainment system that may ditch the rotary knob for a touchpad along with the usual trim and color updates.
As for the M6’s 552hp (560PS) and 680Nm turbocharged V8, it will probably continue unchanged for this generation.
The facelift involves the entire 6-Series range that comprises the Coupe, Cabriolet and 4-door Gran Coupe models.
