How can you possibly make a Volvo 240 Wagon more practical? By making it amphibious, of course.
The folks at Bold Ride have the whole story on the Theonomics EVolvo, but in short, it has a rear-mounted motor to propel itself on the water, and offset the weight at the front so it doesn’t fill up with water.
And it looks like three people fit just fine without sinking it, as the video below proves.
So folks, if you have an old 240 laying around, you can do more than just stick a V8 in the front of it. You can also apparently make it seaworthy.
