German tuning house AC Schnitzer has unveiled its interpretation of the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupé, called the ACS4 Gran Coupé.

Combining performance upgrades with styling tweaks, the ACS4 Gran Coupé is aimed at those who want a sharper and more powerful 4-Series Gran Coupé than what BMW has to offer.

The ACS4 Gran Coupé is available with six engines, each featuring power gains compared to the production model. In the AC Schnitzer version, the BMW 428i produces 294PS (+49PS), the 435i has 350PS (+44PS), and the 420i, available only for export markets, offers 245PS (+61PS).

The diesel lineup includes the 420d which has been upgraded to 218PS (+34PS), the 430d with 309PS (+51PS) and the 435d with 360PS (+47PS). All petrol engines are also available with an intercooler, while all engines can be had with AC Schnitzer engine styling.

To complement the performance upgrades, the tuner also offers a silencer with two chromed tailpipe trims, which comes in a choice of “Racing Evo”, “Racing” or “Sport” style, in right/left combination.

To improve handling, AC Schnitzer fits the 4-Series Gran Coupé with a sports suspension that lowers the front axle by 10-25mm and the rear by 5-15mm. The suspension spring kit also lowers the 4-Series by up to 25mm at the front and by 10-25mm at the rear. For those who want even more, the AC Schnitzer racing suspension lowers the front by 30-40mm and the rear by 25-40mm.

Styling-wise, the ACS4 Gran Coupé gains new front spoiler and rear diffusor, carbon mirror covers, chromed front grille (for M-Technik versions) and rear skirt protective film.

Inside, AC Schnitzer offers upgrades like the aluminum handbrake handle in “Black Line” style, gear knob with digital gear display, illuminated leather gear knob or the aluminum “Black Line” gear knob. An aluminum pedal set and foot rest, a keyholder and floor mats in velour are also offered.
