“What will the new M2 Coupe look like?” is a question that has been sizzling in the minds of automotive artists for a while now, but there’s no definitive answer to that.
We can only speculate based on the M2 prototypes circulating on the roads and to some extent, BMW’s M235i Racing and Gran Turismo 6 Vision Concept cars that may or may not provide some hints at the styling details.
One of the latest efforts to visualize the M2 comes from the 2Addicts forums and artist WildSpeed who created this digital render with the note that, since BMW has yet to push out late-stage prototypes with final production parts, the actual car could look different.
I think that in some aspects, the render leans a bit too much on the tuning side of the things.
The new M2 is believed to get BMW’s updated N55 3.0-liter turbocharged-six with about 370 to 380 horses, with 2Addicts claiming that it could debut at next year’s Frankfurt Motor Show in September as a pre-production study, with European sales to follow before the end of the year, and North American, in March of 2016.
