We had to read Voltage Design’s press release a few times to be sure, but the carbon fiber spoilers seen on this S65 AMG tune cost about as much as a base A-Class in Germany!
For €24,900 or $31,750, you get a front spoiler, front apron wings, side skirts, mirror caps, Voltage side logos, a roof spoiler and a rear diffuser. Want a carbon fiber hood? That will be another €3,000 or about $3,800, thank you very much.
If you want Voltage Design to fiddle around the engine compartment, they’ll charge you an extra €3,899 or $5,000 to give the stock 630PS (621hp) and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) strong 6.0-liter V12 an output of 680PS (671hp) and 1,100Nm, allowing it to top out at 300km/h (186mph).
For €7,899, they’ll do some extra work and twist out 720PS (710hp) and 1,150Nm from the V12, giving the car a top speed of 320km/h (199mph).
And they’re not done yet, as €14,850 will get you their new carbon and ceramics brake system. They also mention that they offer 21 inch wheels with high performance rubber, but it’s not clear if this will cost you extra or if it’s included in the price for the brakes – somehow, we think it’s the former…
