For the 2014 Sao Paulo Motor Show, Hyundai prepped a sported-up concept of its locally made HB20 supermini with the R-Spec moniker.
The hotter-looking HB20 is featured in a neat matte-blue paint with an aero kit that includes beefier bumpers, side skirts, twin pipes and a carbon fiber roof spoiler together with bigger 17-inch wheels through which we see the red Brembo calipers.
Hyundai also applied its new corporate six-point grille on the front end of the car and replaced the head- and tail-lamp units with new LED pieces.
The Korean maker’s Brazilian arm spiffed up the interior too with Alcantara sport seats, a flat bottom steering wheel and gloss black trimmings on the dashboard.
Hyundai remained silent on the car’s mechanical specifications, but we imagine that if the Koreans green-light a production version, it would get some performance upgrades over the regular model.
