“Sold out” is usually a problem only for 99 percenters or the “not-haves”; the “haves” or 1 percenters always have solutions in their disposal, even when it seems nay impossible.
All 499 examples of the new LaFerrari were sold out even before the hybrid supercar was introduced to us plebeians, at a rumored cost of around €1 million to €1.2 million a piece in Europe sans taxes (Ferrari never officially released pricing).
That doesn’t mean you can’t get one, it only means that you’ll have to dig deeper into your pockets.
How deep? Try around a 100 percent markup, with this red LaFerrari that has 100km (62 miles) under its belt listed for sale at €2.19 million ($2.77 million) or €2.6 million ($3.3 million) with 19 percent tax included on the Mobile site.
Ferrari has supposedly taken measures to prevent these things from happening by vetting each and every order of the LaFerrari. Obviously, that didn’t really work out, did it now…
