The completely new Land Rover Discovery Sport made it official debut in Paris, where it was floated to its reveal venue on a giant barge. No new information was released, but we do have fresh pictures that show off the Disco Sport’s Range Rover lines in direct sunlight.
Land Rover brought over two examples to the event: the five- and seven-seater (called “5+2”). The latter is a totally unique proposition from the manufacturer, who’d previously only offered three-row practicality on the larger Discovery.
Both models are worth keeping an eye on, as we await the first drive impressions. It can’t be that different to drive from an Evoque, though the Disco Sport’s suspension will probably be softer, so there should not be all that much to moan about.
