Two men filming and commenting on a Jeep driver that was all over the road ended up recording their own crash when the aforementioned vehicle smashed into an oncoming Jeep Wrangler that then hit their car!

The accident happened in Fayette County, with the passenger filming the Jeep driver from his cell phone. The two men were wondering if the motorist was tired or intoxicated after the Jeep repeatedly swerved left and right.

While they mentioned calling 911 in the video, they didn’t do so, at least not in the footage provided (we don’t know if they had done so before).

It also strikes us as odd that the driver never used his horn to warn the Jeep motorist, something that didn’t go by unnoticed in the YouTube comments.

YouTuber Amber Ridgdill wrote:

“I would have done everything in my power to get them to stop. Horn, lights, slowing down in front of them, whatever (cautiously of course). Sadly, my mother has been that person before. She works 12 hour shifts at night and drives an hour both ways to work. While adjusting to the schedule, she was often extremely tired while driving home and at one point, ran a red light and tboned someone in the intersection.”

Update: The two men have been identified as Kaecieo Bass and Kevin Denney. They spoke to WCVB news about their encounter.

“She was swerving in and out. She would go off the road and she would come back out, then she would go back into the other lane. It kind of scared us a little bit,” Bass said. “I started actually praying for her and everybody else on the road and making sure sure — praying, hoping everyone would be okay.”

Neither Bass nor Denney were hurt, but they said the female driver of the Jeep had “forehead injuries and seemed out of it”.

“She was just sitting there with her phone in her hand, so I don’t know if she was texting or if she grabbed it after it all happened,” Denney said.

Police are still investigating the accident and have yet to file any charges.
