As the latest addition to Mini’s lineup, the new 5-Door has received attention from Mini Yours, the automaker’s personalization program.
The Mini Yours program for the new 3-door and 5-door hatches includes new exterior paint finishes and alloy wheels, upholstery variations and interior color schemes, trims and colour lines, as well as Mini-specific options such as mirror caps, additional headlamps, roof decor and graphic elements.
Developed specially for the Mini 3-door and 5-door, the Lapisluxury Blue paintwork adds distinction to the two models, along with the 18-inch Mini Yours alloy wheels in two-tone Vanity Spoke design. For the interior, Mini Yours offers carefully selected leather for the seats, instrument panel and steering wheel, as well as interior surfaces in genuine woods and other high-end materials.
The seats of the new Mini 3-door and Mini 5-door feature Mini Yours Lounge Carbon Black leather and a Union Jack design incorporated on the back of the headrests. The Mini Yours leather sports steeling wheel is wrapped in nappa leather with hand-finished aluminum-colored contrasting stitching. Other interior styles offered are Mini Yours Dark Cottonwood, Mini Yours Fibre Alloy and Mini Yours Off-White.
According to Mini, the ex works options available from the Mini Yours program feature top-quality materials, stylish designs and precise workmanship to the highest standards. The options are installed at the Mini plant in Oxford or at VDL Nedcar in Born, Holland, for the Mini 3-door.
