Ford has released pricing for its facelifted Focus ST in the UK that welcomes the first ever diesel-powered model in the range.
Whereas North America gets one engine and one body style, UK buyers can choose from two engine options, the 247bhp (250PS) 2.0-liter turbo petrol and the new 183bhp (185PS) 2.0-liter diesel, two body styles, the five-door hatchback and the practical estate, as well as three trim levels named ST-1, ST-2 and ST-3.
Prices are the same for the petrol and diesel versions, starting from £22,195 for the ST-1 hatchbacks and climbing to £27,095 for the ST-3 Estates.
All models come with a six-speed manual transmission, Recaro sport seats, a styling kit, 18-inch wheels and for the first time, an Auto-Start-Stop, as standard.
The ST-2 gets you seats with partial leather trim, LED daytime running lights, automatic lights and wipers, and dual automatic temperature control, while the range-topping ST-3 adds numerous features such as ‘Rock Metallic’ alloys with red brake callipers, illuminated scuff plates, privacy glass, SYNC 2 with 8-inch touchscreen and cruise control with speed limiter.
Ford is already accepting orders for the 2015 Focus ST ahead of first deliveries in February 2015.
