If you like the Opel / Vauxhall Corsa but also like Claudia Schiffer at the same time, then you should feel sorry for missing its Paris auto show debut. No worries, though, we have live shots of the former supermodel posing alongside the supermini in the gallery below.

The new Corsa is by no means an exciting car (in spite of bearing the Italian equivalent of the Spanish “Carrera” as its name), and it’s seriously lagging behind rivals in terms of design flair. It does get new lights front and rear, as well as all-new panels, but the fact of the matter is you’d struggle to say it’s a new model – looks like a facelift…

In fact, the running gear has only slightly been tweaked, the biggest differences between this new Corsa and the outgoing car lying in its much improved interior, new engines and infusion of fresh tech.

Power plants for the new Corsa range from a newly-developed 1.0-liter ECOTEC direct injection turbo petrol which features an aluminum block, to a 100 PS 1.4-liter turbo. Diesel fans will get to choose between the 1.3 CDTI’s two power outputs: 75 or 95 PS.
