Completely redesigned just two years ago, the Nissan Pathfinder SUV soldiers on for the 2015 model year with only content updates.
The base 2015 Nissan Pathfinder S 2WD model is priced at $29,510 in the United States (excluding $885 destination), which makes it $810 more expensive than the 2014 model.
On sale now at dealerships nationwide, the 2015 Pathfinder is available in 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive configurations, with all models powered by a 260hp 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine.
For the 2015 model year, the Pathfinder has received a number of enhancements, related mostly to equipment. SL and Platinum grades have gained the Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) systems.
The SL Tech Package has received the Around View Monitor and tow hitch and harness, the SL Premium Package the Around View Monitor and Nissan Navigation system, the SV fog lights, auto dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink Universal Transceiver and heated side rearview mirrors, the SL a 120V power outlet, and a standard Dual Panorama Moonroof has been added to the Platinum trim level.
Other equipment upgrades include the addition of Hill Descent Control to 4-wheel drive models, Enhanced D-Step Shift logic for the standard Xtronic transmission, a new Family Entertainment Package with dual headrest 7.0-inch DVD Family Entertainment System, and six new exterior colors: Java Metallic, Midnight Jade, Gun Metallic, Magnetic Black, Glacier White and Pearl White.
The 2015 Pathfinder is offered with four option packages: SL Tech Package, SL Premium Package, Family Entertainment Package and Trailer Tow Package.
