Ford-owned Troller has unveiled two special versions of the T4 off-roader at the Sao Paulo Auto Show, the T4 Off-Road and T4 Rescue concepts.
The T4 Off-Road features more rugged styling with off-road features and a two tone brown and tan paint scheme. Original accessories include a snorkel, winch, off-road tires and a redesigned front bumper with a steel plate to protect the engine. The model also features high performance dampers in order to handle more extreme terrain. Inside, the T4 Off-Road features a custom trim said to enhance comfort and refinement.
The T4 Rescue concept car is basically a T4 equipped for emergency services. Designed to reach remote locations, the study takes the T4’s strength and all-terrain capability one step further. It also features a distinctive exterior with orange paint with blue accents, new taillights, LED lights on the sides, 17-inch rims with special tires and a dinghy on the roof for rescue actions. At the rear, the study has a special compartment to store tools.
Both versions are powered by the production model’s 3.2-liter turbodiesel producing 200 horsepower, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Like the Troller T4, they are equipped with electronic traction control, limited slip differential and disc brakes on all four wheels with ABS and EBD.
