Official images of Cadillac’s all-new 2016 ATS-V have made their way onto the web affording us our first look at America’s answer to the BMW M4.
The ATS-V Coupe gets the usual aero and styling enhancements including redesigned bumpers, bigger wheels, a vented hood, unique upper and lower grille inserts, front apron, side skirts, rear diffuser with quad pipes and a boot spoiler.
Maybe it’s just me, but in these press photos, the ATS-V looks kind of like a SEMA aftermarket tune compared to its more elegant European rivals, but I’ll save final judgment until we see more of it.
Besides these shots, Jalopnik says it got hold of Road&Track’s Performance Car of the Year issue in which it is revealed that the ATS-V gets 3.6-liter V6 churning out 450 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque, while weighing in at 3,600 pounds.
