VW has delivered the first new generation VW Passat to a retail customer at the Autostadt in Wolfsburg, Germany. Jörg Rüter and his family were presented with the keys of a new Passat Variant by Francesco Forte, director company employee sales and customer management Autostadt.
“To pick up a new car is in itself something special. And now to be also the first customer to pick up a new Passat at the Autostadt is unique,” said Rüter. The car he ordered is a 2.0 TDI BlueMotion Technology with 150PS (148hp), painted in Tungsten Silver Metallic. The Comfortline trim means it is equipped with the “Climatronic” automatic air conditioning system, winter package, winter wheels and the “Composition Media” audio system.
The new generation of the VW Passat is currently on display at the Autostadt in Wolfsburg in the foyer of the Customer Center. The models shown are from the three equipment lines (Trendline, Comfortline and Highline). Furthermore, until November 30, Autostadt visitors can test the eighth-generation Passat during 45 minutes in the city of Wolfsburg.
