The Ram ProMaster City, basically a rebadged version of the Fiat Doblo, has just gone on sale in the US. It comes with a price tag starting from $24,125 for the cargo-only variant and $25,125 for the five-seat passenger guise. It’s built in Turkey, alongside its Euro counterpart, and is expected to hit showrooms in early 2015.

Only one engine option will be available: a 2.4-liter gasoline unit coupled to a nine-cog self-shifter, a combo capable of returning 24 mpg US combined.

Customers can specify two interior trim colors (black or grey), as well as the Uconnect entertainment system accessed via a five-inch screen; it comes with satellite radio and navigation as well as Bluetooth connectivity and a backup camera.

The cargo variant is capable of carrying a maximum payload of 1,883 lbs and boasts 131.7 cubic feet of volume. There are six recessed tie-down clips too, for securing whatever it is that’s being transported.
