If you’re one of the 5,000 people who jumped in to order Dodge’s new Challenger SRT Hellcat, you’ll be pleased to know that the first cars have left Canada’s Brampton plant.
And just to get you super excited, Dodge made a short video of the Hellcats being loaded onto the transport trucks under the metal sounds of Mötley Crüe’s “Kickstart My Heart”.
Dodge says the new Hellcat is the world’s most powerful and fastest V8 muscle car in production with the 6.2-liter HEMI pushing out 707 horsepower, allowing the Challenger to run the quarter mile in 11.2 seconds with an exit speed of 125mph (201km/h) on street tires.
Not bad for a thunderous straight-line machine that costs a hair under $60,000.
