Alfa Romeo wants to appeal to business drivers with the Giulietta Business Edition, a new derivative launched in the UK.
Based on the mid-range Distinctive trim level, the Giulietta Business Edition features a number of additional features including a 6.5-inch Uconnect infotainment system upgrade with voice-programmable satellite navigation with 3D mapping, a Visibility Pack (dusk and rain sensors; self-dimming rear-view interior mirror and power folding door mirrors), front seat electric lumbar support and front parking sensors.
These features are in addition to the 16-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, rear parking sensors, DAB digital radio and Bluetooth connectivity which are already standard on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Distinctive.
The model is offered with a choice of four engines: the 105hp 1.6-liter JTDM-2 turbo-diesel, the new 150hp 2.0-liter JTDM-2 turbo-diesel (both with six-speed manual transmissions), as well as the 170hp 1.4 Turbo Petrol and 175hp 2.0-liter JTDM-2 turbo-diesel, both equipped with the six-speed ALFA TCT twin dry-clutch transmission.
Alfa Romeo says the Giulietta Business Edition offers more than £2,000 worth of additional equipment compared to the Distinctive model, which makes its OTR price actually lower when both are equipped with comparable engines. The Alfa Romeo Business is priced from £18,990 (€23,992) OTR.
