Fiat is still selling the Punto, a vehicle launched in 2005 that badly needs a replacement. Until one comes, Photoshop manipulator Remco Meulendijk from the RM Design has come up with a suggestion for Fiat, called 500 Plus.
As its name suggests, it is part of the enlarged 500 family that also includes the 500L MPV and 500X crossover. The rendered B-segment car uses the same styling language as the smaller Fiat 500 city car, albeit adapted to bigger proportions.
A Fiat 500 Plus would have to fill the gap between the 500 and the 500L in Fiat’s lineup and if Fiat’s five-year plan unveiled in May 2014 is accurate, the new model should arrive on the market sometime in 2016.
