GM has announced European pricing for the fastest, most powerful production Corvette ever, the Z06, which will arrive on the continent in spring 2015.
The Z06 coupe will have a suggested retail price of €99,500 ($124,200), while the convertible model will start at €104,500 ($130,445) – both prices correspond to the German market. European Corvette dealers will start taking customer orders for the Z06 as of now.
“The new Z06 delivers 659 PS, 881 newton meter of torque, true aerodynamic downforce, carbon fiber and performance technologies such as Magnetic Ride Control, Performance Traction Management and an electronic limited slip differential. All of the above can be combined with an either 7-speed manual or the new 8-speed automatic transmission,” said Thomas Sedran, President and Managing Director, Chevrolet and Cadillac Europe.
Among the Z06’s standard features Chevrolet has included the third-generation Magnetic Selective Ride Control dampers, Performance Traction Management system for track driving, launch control, an electronic limited-slip differential, and a color head-up display.
The Z06 will be offered with the optional Z07 Performance Package (€16,500), which adds lighter Brembo carbon ceramic-matrix brake rotors, adjustable front and rear aerodynamic components and Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup tires. Another optional feature is the Performance Data Recorder (PDR), which enables users to record high-definition video, with telemetry overlays, of their driving experiences on the track.
