XCAR talked with Rob Dickinson, the founder of Singer Vehicle Design, about how the company was born and how it rebuilds and modifies Porsche’s most iconic model. For example, did you know that each car takes over eight to nine months to complete? During that period of time, Singer employees restore, tune, modify and customize the 911s according to their owners’ wishes.
Dickinson says he fell in love with the Porsche 911 when he was only five years old, during a vacation with his family in the south of France. It’s really interesting how a distant memory made such an impression on him as an adult that he started a business dedicated to the 911.
