Richard Hammond, on the other hand, sampled the 918 Spyder at the Yas Marina circuit, at night and in the dry. At first, he marveled at the level of luxury the Porsche offers the driver and passenger, which is in stark comparison to the Spartan P1 that doesn’t even have a glove box.
Oh, who cares? Touchscreens and hi-end audio systems are not what these hypercars are about; instead, they are all about driving and, with the Abu Dhabi track at his disposal, Hammond drove the wheels off the 918.
