Talk about rubbing salt into the wounds; adding insult to injury; kicking a man when he’s down! And all that from Vancouver’s police department.
After (rightfully) slapping a young man with a $368 speeding ticket and three demerit points on his license, as well as impounding his dealership-plated Lamborghini Huracan on the spot for going 102 km/h (64mph) in a 50 km/h (31 mph) zone, the Canadian cops mocked him with a cheeky post on Twitter.
The Tweet read: “Lamborghini – $275K. Excessive speeding ticket – $368. Watching your sports car get towed for 7 days – Priceless.”
The National Post reported that the car was driven by a 30-year old man who was not identified by the police with the car belonging to a Vancouver dealership, which will get it back after seven days.
