Toyota has released the 2015 RAV4 compact SUV with minor equipment enhancements and a new trim level in Britain.
Improvements for 2015 include a new chrome finish for the RAV4 Active’s five-spoke 17-inch alloys and the addition of silver (or Pearl White when the SUV is specified with a Pearl White body) front and rear under-runs for the Invincible.
Toyota also added a new Deep Titanium metallic color and a number of fresh equipment options, including heated, leather front seats for the Active, Business Edition and Invincible grades, and the Toyota Touch 2 with Go Plus that adds extra functionality, voice command recognition and thee years of free map updates.
As the name suggests, the new RAV4 Business Edition targets company users. It’s powered by a 2.0-litre D-4D diesel engine paired to a six-speed manual driving the front wheels and returns a combined cycle figure of 57.6mpg UK with 127g/km CO2 emissions.
Priced from £23,995 on the road, a premium of £1,500 over the entry level Active model, the Business Edition offers the lowest insurance group rating in the RAV4 line-up at 25E.
In addition to the Active’s 17-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, front fog lamps, power-adjustable door mirrors and a four-speaker audio system, standard specification includes the Toyota Touch 2 with Go touchscreen-controlled multimedia, connectivity and navigation system, cruise control, dual-zone climate, automatic headlights and wipers, auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
