If you thought Lexus was playing it a little too safe every time you took to the track on your PlayStation 3, think again.

The Lexus LF-LC GT “Vision Gran Turismo” was developed for fans who “want to race world competitions in their dream car”. Lexus designed this car while targeting entry in races such as the Super GT and the Nurburgring 24 hour race.

To be fair, the car looks seriously quick, and if you were a fan of the Gran Turismo gaming franchise, you were probably aware of Lexus having just 3 cars inside the game – the 2008 IS350 GT300, the 2012 LFA Nurburgring Package and the 2008 SC430 GT500.

Visually, the main inspiration for this car was the LF LC Luxury Coupe Concept which Lexus debuted during the 2012 Detroit Auto Show – with amazing details such as the tail lamps looking like the afterburners of a jet aircraft. Of course, we were already intrigued after recently seeing the teaser.

The Lexus LF-LC GT “Vision Gran Turismo” will arrive in a free update for the Gran Turismo 6 title (PS3), and it’s due to be released this spring.
