Top Gear is having a nine-meter (nearly 30 ft) fiberglass model of the show’s tame racing driver, the Stig, transported onto the European mainland. Big Stig will be traveling on the back of a flatbed truck from the Top Gear test track, all the way to Poland’s capital, Warsaw.
The truck will travel through Amsterdam, Berlin and Poznan before it enters Warsaw, and it should make for some interesting pictures along the way – people, and especially fans of the show, should find the sight of Big Stig passing by quite amusing; we know we would…
The reason for Bit Stig’s creation and departure for Poland is the launch of a new BBC channel, called BBC Brit. It launches February 1 and will reportedly run Top Gear and other proprietary shows not just for the Polish audience, but “in many countries around the world,” according to an article on the home site.
