Here’s a good exercise for you. The ultimate road legal yet track oriented Camaro vs. one of the hottest supercars to ever come out of Europe. By the way, it’s not even close.

The problem with this rolling start drag race, isn’t the factory horse power difference between the two cars – well actually it is, but to make things even more unfair, the 12C put on about 100 extra HP via an AMS Performance tune.

That gives its twin turbocharged V8 roughly 716 HP, which is a lot more than the Camaro’s 505 HP. Like we said, it’s not even close. Except for early on during those two times in which the Z/28 gets a false start. Still, the 12C prevails.

During the last run, both cars got an even start, which is where you can clearly see the difference between them.

The three things we’re going to take away from this video are that first of all, it’s not a fair race, obviously. Second of all, that Camaro Z/28 looks really good. And last but not least, if this wasn’t a rolling start, the result would have been much worse.
