If you’re up to date with whats going on in the ‘Bond World’, then you’ve surely heard about Aston’s DB10 model, designed exclusively for the new James Bond movie called Spectre.
This car was build in-house by Aston Martin’s design and engineering teams and was the result of a close collaboration with Sam Mendes (movie director) who wanted “the ultimate car for the world’s most famous spy.”
Surprisingly opinions are split about the looks of the DB10. Some think it’s very good looking in a sort of stylish and retro way, others think it’s just a discount Jaguar F-Type, minus the aggressiveness.
Either way, rest assured this car isn’t the successor to the DB9, so when that time comes, we might still be surprised by the direction Aston Martin’s designers are going to take.
As for this footage, it was taken at Blenheim Palace on February 11th 2015 and it includes rehearsals as well as some gunfire action sequence where James is probably trying to get away from the bad guys.
Bottom line, we can’t wait to see the 4.7 liter V8-powered DB10 at work, but we’ll have to wait until November 6th to catch both the car and Mr Bond on the big screen.
